asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will state, having regard to the recent winding up of the Irish News Agency, (a) the channel or channels through which Irish news and views are now disseminated to the outside world, and (b) if he has satisfied himself that such dissemination is fair, accurate and helpful, particularly in regard to the matter of the partition of Ireland.

In reply to (a) of the Deputy's question, the channels through which Irish news and views are disseminated to the outside world are the ordinary news distribution services, special correspondents and the Departmental Bulletin, (b) there is no evidence that there is any change in the manner of dissemination or in the amount of coverage of Irish news concerning Partition.
