asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the fact that vocational education committees are now preparing their estimates for the coming year, he will give an indication as to the amount of State grants that will be available to them, and when he proposes to send the appropriate notification to the committees.

No decision has yet been reached in regard to the grants payable to vocational education committees in the coming financial year but I have the matter under very active consideration at the moment and I hope to be able to let the committees have the appropriate notification shortly.
