asked the Taoiseach if he will state the number registered as unemployed in Dublin City and Dún Laoghaire at the latest available date.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state the total number of registered unemployed in the City of Cork at the latest convenient date in 1958, and at a corresponding date in 1957.

The total number of persons on the Live Register at Cork Employment Exchange at the latest available date in 1958 (22nd February, 1958) was 3,735 and of this number 3,139 persons resided in Cork County Borough. The corresponding figures for 1957 (23rd February, 1957) were 5,794 and 4,863 respectively.

Would Deputy Casey now put that in his notebook?

Can the Taoiseach say, in relation to the people who have lost their employment in Cork during the past year, to what countries they have now emigrated?
