Vol. 166 No. 6

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 7, 8, 9 and 10; Public Business not to be interrupted.

Could the Tánaiste give us an idea what business will be taken next week?

All the Bills which are on the Order Paper are available for discussion and there will be some Supplementary Estimates, including one for the Department of Industry and Commerce. Then we shall start on the main Estimates, the first of which will be the Department of Defence.

On what days shall we sit?

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

I thought we had a Supplementary Estimate for Industry and Commerce the other day?

Not really.

I would not like to bet at this hour of the morning.

There was a Supplementary Estimate for transport and marine services.

Surely we had a Supplementary Estimate that had something about Mianraí Teoranta in it? Surely that is Department of Industry and Commerce?

That is correct.

Would the Minister who is introducing this Estimate give us some indication why it was not possible within a short period of three weeks to judge the figures in the Department of Industry and Commerce Vote and deal with both at the same time?

This is a difficult one; it is the question of wheat.

That will be a difficult one when it comes to the House.
