The total estimated annual cost of increases in pay, subsistence and travelling allowances granted from 8th May, 1957, to date to the public service is £696,000. This figure does not include the cost of increases to workers whose pay is related to outside rates, for example, industrial workers and rural labourers.
Is the Minister able to give the figures for those excepted in his reply?
