Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Expenditure on President's Establishment.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the total audited, expenditure on the President's Establishment under the various Votes and from the Central Fund in the years 1949-50 to 1957-58, inclusive.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.

For the convenience of the general public would the Parliamentary Secretary give the total amount of money spent?

The total for nine years is £425,763.
