I have no information. The director general is an officer of the board and his emoluments and conditions of service are determined by the board.
On other occasions when we have asked for information about State companies, we received it. We have been given it in relation to C.I.E. and why can we not have the information in this case? Is there any reason why there should be a secret about it?
This is a matter entirely for the board of An Bord Fáilte and the Minister has no function in the matter.
