asked the Minister for Agriculture if he was aware that a decision to end a temporary appointment of an extra veterinary inspector for Cork Rural District, which was taken by the Cork County Council after consultation with his Department's veterinary inspector, still awaits his sanction; and if in view of the circular to local authorities recommending economy he will immediately sanction the decision.
