Vol. 168 No. 4

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: No. 2 (Vote 26), and if that is concluded, No. 3. It is not proposed to interrupt Public Business. to take Private Deputies' Business.

May I repeat that I wish to give notice of my intention to raise the subject matter of Question No. 9, on the Adjournment?

I shall communicate with the Deputy.

I do not know if the attention of the Government has been directed to the fact that the Minister for Lands has put down about 20 amendments on the Report Stage of the Fisheries Bill. In the light of the large number of amendments put down by the Minister would the Government consider recommitting the Bill?

I shall mention that to the Minister. I do not know what he will do.

Do I understand from the Order of Business that if No. 26 is disposed of we shall go on to No. 3 and if that is disposed of we shall resume the Estimates?

No, we shall adjourn.

Does that apply to tomorrow as well?

No, it is only for to-day.

Can the Minister give us an indication of to-morrow's business?

The Estimate for Education.

Is it only Education to-morrow?

And on from that.

Will Estimates only be ordered or is the Fisheries Bill to be ordered?

We have to consider that.

The amendments on the Green Paper in relation to the Fisheries Bill have not been circulated.

Does the Minister say that in regard to the Estimates tomorrow, we shall follow the order of the Estimates as on the Order Paper?

Yes, Education and Industry and Commerce.

May I put in a caveat in respect of Industry and Commerce? The Deputy from our Front Bench who would be taking it has become ill and we might not be able to go on with that Estimates tomorrow. However, I shall talk to the Whips about it.

It is not ordered for to-morrow.
