asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is prepared to recommend to Comhairle Radio Éireann that additional advertising time be made available on programmes to facilitate Irish firms desirous of availing of this advertising medium.
I shall have the Deputy's request conveyed to Comhairle Radio Éireann. However, on a matter merely of an extension of time for sponsored programmes, I feel that it would be inappropriate to make any recommendation and that it should be left to the comhairle for consideration on the merits.
