The terms of emploment as to remuneration of veterinary surgeons employed in a temporary capacity by my Department are a fee of three guineas a day, subject to an overriding maximum weekly fee of 16 guineas. The veterinary surgeons employed on this basis are expected to be present on each day for such period as will enable the work at the particular centre to be completed.
