asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of the E.S.B. for each year ended 31st March since 1948 (1) output, (2) generating plant capacity, (3) net capital outlay on completed works for (a) generation, (b) transmission, (c) distribution and (d) general, (4) net capital outlay on capital works in progress, (5) totals of (3) and (4), and (6) for each generating station (a) the type of fuel used, (b) the total cost of generation per unit sent out and (c) the similar total cost on the hypothetical basis of each station having equal priority to supply demand (for 1956-57 and 1957-58 only if other years are not readily available).
