The Clerk made the following announcement:—

In compliance with Standing Order 134 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business, I have to announce that Patrick J. Cummins has been elected to the Dáil at the By-Election held on 25th June, 1958, for the Borough Constituency of Dublin South (Central) in place of Deputy John Murphy, who resigned.
Deputy Patrick J. Cummins, the new. member for the Borough Constituency of Dublin South (Central), was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy Loughman and took his seat.
