Vol. 171 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Central Sorting and Delivery Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs what is the present position regarding the proposals for the erection of a new central sorting and delivery office in Dublin.

On account of the very high estimated cost of the proposed building it was considered necessary to undertake a critical review of the plans. Officers of my Department and of the Office of Public Works have been actively engaged on this review and it is hoped to complete the detailed planning including necessary planning of equipment and fittings shortly so that work may begin on the detailed working drawings.
