Economic Development was published to make available the information assembled and co-ordinated in it and to stimulate interest in the subject of national development. It is expressly stated in the first chapter that no Department is committed to the whole range of views and suggestions put forward.
I should like to make it clear, however, that the statement referred to by the Deputy is in line with the viewpoint implicit in other economic commentaries.
