A contract has recently been placed for extensions and alterations to the terminal building at Shannon Airport to provide increased and improved accommodation for passengers and public using the airport.
It is also proposed to erect an aircraft hangar at the airport. This facility is badly needed and I expect that its provision will be of considerable benefit to the airport.
The cost of these developments will be of the order of £200,000.
