I hope to be able to make an announcement in this matter before the end of the present month.
Will the Minister say, since it is now 7th January, 1959 and the farmers generally are making artangements for the coming season, particularly tillage farmers, if he considers it advisable that the statement should be made forthwith?
One can consider many things and having considered them, make a statement when that consideration has been completed. I have tried to convey to the Deputy that I have not completed my consideration, but that I hope to do so before the end of this month.
The farmers would like the Minister to make the statement now.
The Minister might wake up.
