It is presumed that what the Deputy has in mind is the balance of merchandise trade of this country with each country with which it carries on such trade. The following table shows for the year 1957 and for the period January-October, 1958. the import excess or export excess of this State in respect of its merchandise trade with each country for which in either period the total value of imports or exports exceeded £50,000.
