NOTES:
(a) The total figure which appeared on the cover of the Book of Estimates in 1957-58 was £112.6 m. Three revised Estimates, for Agriculture, Industry and Commerce and External Affairs, were subsequently passed by Dáil Éireann reducing this figure to £106.2 million.
(b) The figures in Col. (4) in respect of 1953-54 and 1954-55 were not published in the Book of Estimates but were specified in the Tables issued in connection with the Financial Statement.
(c) No distinction is made between capital and non-capital Supply Services expenditure when it is being audited. The figures in Col. (6) represent issues for Voted Capital Services and those in Col. (9) the difference between the figures in Cols. (3) and (6).
