asked the Minister for Lands if he will give particulars of any schemes of bog development which were sanctioned by his Department for County Donegal for the present financial year; and if he will undertake to have the operation of any such schemes expedited.

A scheme for the provision of 64 rights of turbary at Tullyard in the Glenties district of County Donegal has been approved and it is expected that it will be operated in the near future. Development work at a cost of £3,650 has been authorised.
In addition, proposals for the allocation of turbary at Carrickatlieve, near Ardara, are at present under consideration.
The possibility of developing bogs in other parts of the County is also being examined.
Would the Minister give any estimate for the Ardara scheme?
The scheme has been sanctioned recently and has been lodged, but I have no particulars at the moment.
