asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that in the Index to Statutes in Force the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, is described as a general drainage act; and if, in view of the fact that in a reply of 8th April, 1959, he stated that the Commissioners of Public Works had interpreted the Act to refer to the drainage of agricultural land only, he will request the Attorney General to take the necessary steps to have this point clarified.
