The compilation of statistics of the nature of those contained in Table 79 of the Thirty-third Annual Report of the Revenue Commissioners involved the expenditure of a considerable amount of time and effort. For economy reasons the compilation of these statistics was dropped some years ago and a new table was substituted which sets out statistics of Sur-tax assessments made, income assessed and Sur-tax assessed. The latest table is contained in the Thirty-fifth Annual Report, a copy of which is in the Library.
