In accordance with the provisions of the Grass Meal (Production) Acts, 1953 and 1959, a new Company, Min Fhéir (1959) Teoranta, is being formed for the purpose of reviving the grass meal project in the Bangor Erris area, County Mayo. The Company will be incorporated as soon as the legal formalities relating to its registration under the Companies Acts have been completed. As indicated in my reply to a Question on 11th November, 1959, certain persons have agreed to accept nomination as directors, but they cannot be appointed until the Company has been incorporated, and it would, I think, be premature to publish their names or to disclose particulars of the remuneration which they will receive as directors. I understand that the directors-designate have inspected a number of districts in the Bangor Erris area, but that a site for the project has not been finally selected.
