Land Commission statistics are generally recorded by reference to financial years. During the year 1958/59, a total of 40 Mayo families was migrated by the Land Commission, including 18 migrated within County Mayo. Since 1st April, 1959, an additional 19 Mayo migrants have been transferred, including 12 within the county.
