asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the cost of the ice plants built at (1) Schull (2) Galway and (3) Dunmore East, and the landings of fish in cwts. at each of these ports from 1st September, 1958, to the latest available date.

The cost of the ice plant erected at Dunmore East was £18,085. The ice plants at Galway and Schull were provided in conjunction with other facilities and, though separate figures are not available, their estimated costs were £10,000 and £8,500, respectively.

The quantities of fish landed in the period 1st September, 1958 to 30th January, 1960 were:—
