As regards the first part of the question, the proposed Irish Dairy Produce Board will be established as soon as the necessary legislation, which is at present being prepared, is enacted.
As regards the second part of the question, the Government's intentions in the matter were set out fully in the recent White Paper entitled "Export Marketing of Irish Agricultural Produce" and were framed only after very careful consideration of the relevant report of the Advisory Committee on the Marketing of Agricultural Produce.
