The Forestry Division of my Department has acquired a total area of 149 acres in the townlands of Maulvannig and Cappaboy More, Co. Cork. The lands are attached to Inchigeelagh State Forest. They are at present being held as part of the plantable reserve of that Forest and I am not in a position to state when work on them will commence. The planting programme at Inchigeelagh this year totals 458 acres. The provisional programme for next year totals 470 acres.
