The number of workers employed by each county council on roads and bridges as at 31st January, 1960, the total number so employed and particulars of each increase in the wages of road workers sanctioned since the 1st January, 1960 are set out in the following statement.
Proposals to grant increases of 9/- per week to Kerry County Council road workers and 10/6 per week to Dublin County Council road workers are under consideration in my Department.
