As I stated in the course of a reply to Questions addressed to me in this House on the matter on the 10th of last month, certain proposals in connection with the transfer of Departments or sections were under preliminary consideration but it would be premature, at that stage, to give particulars of those proposals.
While this remains the position, I can assure the Deputy—in reply to the last part of his Question—that every effort is being made to promote, generally, the decentralisation of Departments to such extent as may be found practicable.
