The following is the information requested in respect of applications for medical cards received by Mayo County Council from the commencement of the scheme in 1954 up to 31st December, 1959:
(a) 15,732 applications received; (b) 13,545 applications approved; (c) 2,127 applications rejected; (d) 60 applications were under consideration on 31st December, 1959.
