With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a statement showing, in respect of fishing ports, the total amount provided by way of grants and repayable advances from State funds from 1st April, 1946 to 31st March, 1960, and expended on the provision of plant, machinery and buildings by the Irish Sea Fisheries Association, Ltd. and An Bord Iascaigh Mhara.
Information about expenditure on repairs and extensions to fishing piers should be sought from the Minister for Finance.
