At a recent date a total area of 8,409 acres was on offer to the Forestry Division of my Department in County Wexford. This area is made up of 174 separate offers and it would be impracticable to give the date on which each individual lot was offered.
It would seem from the Minister's reply that his Department is just a little bit slow about taking over land in Wexford if there were 174 different allotments on offer?
I always understood the Deputy to be against my Department taking over any land for forestry.
