As I indicated in reply to a similar question on 10th May last, Galway Corporation is the owner and licensee of the airfield at Oranmore and its development would be a matter for that body. The establishment of a State airport at Oranmore is not under consideration. I would be prepared to assist the Corporation, if it so desires, by making the technical advice of my Department available.
