With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions No. 17 and No. 18 together.
The answer to each of the questions is "None." There are, however, two committees whose membership is not confined to Departmental officers. They are the Nitrogenous Fertiliser Factory Committee appointed in August, 1960, to report on the various considerations on which the Government would determine the practicability and desirability of establishing a nitrogenous fertiliser factory; and the Committee on Co-operative Societies, appointed in December, 1957, to enquire into and report on the alterations which should be made in the law to promote co-operative effort by societies capable of being registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts or the Friendly Societies Acts (other than societies concerned with agricultural pursuits).
