asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state separately in respect of each county council and the totals for all county councils of the number of men employed on direct labour works on roads and bridges on 31st January, 1961, the number employed on contract works, and the rate of wages paid to road workers on the same date.

The following was the position at 31st January, 1961, regarding the numbers employed on direct labour and contract road works and the weekly rates of wages.
