The Land Commission, two years ago, prepared a scheme for rearrangement of a number of holdings in Loughconneara but, due to lack of co-operation on the part of some of the tenants concerned, the scheme could be only partly implemented. It is intended to make a further attempt shortly to complete rearrangement of this townland and, should this prove successful, formulation of proposals for the adjoining townland of Kylesalia will be undertaken.
