In the ordinary way these Resolutions would give rise to some discussion on Report Stage but, since it is vital for the business of the community generally that the legislation to follow these Resolutions should be known at the earliest possible opportunity, we do not propose to hold the matter up any longer. A good many Resolutions have been passed which should come into force on the day on which they were passed but the terms of them cannot be known until the Finance Bill comes before the House. Therefore I urge on the Minister the necessity to have the terms of the Finance Bill made known as soon as possible.
