Exports of Irish wheat in the year ended March, 1961, were approximately 23,000 tons. Details as to price and destination are available only for the period of 11 months to February, 1961. Exports in that period were valued at £18 15s. 11d. per ton f.o.b. and were all to Great Britain and the Six Counties.
It is not possible at this stage to forecast exports during the remainder of 1961.
