Statistics of sales of wet-time stamps are compiled on a quarterly basis. The average weekly number of wet-time stamps sold at Post Offices and to holders of impressed stamping machines in the first quarter of 1961 was 31,641, representing increases of 2,585, 3,623, 3,195 and 111 respectively over the first quarters of 1960, 1959, 1958 and 1957.
