I presume that the question relates only to such nurses employed in the local authority service as are not already eligible to avail themselves of the provisions of the Industrial Relations Acts.
The introduction of conciliation and arbitration machinery in respect of this group can only be considered in conjunction with the introduction of such machinery for other classes of local authority officer also, including local authority officers in respect of whom I am not the appropriate Minister.
