Vol. 191 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Address of Gaelic Publications.

27.

asked the Minister for Education whether he is aware that the form of address used by Inniu for transmission of its proofs from its printing works in Westport to its editorial office in Dublin is The Editor, Inniu, 29 Lower O'Connell Street, Dublin; and whether this practice is in accordance with the conditions under which subsidies by the taxpayers at the rate of £200 per week are paid to Inniu for the purpose of extending the use of the Irish language.

I am not so aware, and I am satisfied that the paper in question fulfils all the conditions attaching to the grant which is payable to it.

If the Minister is not so aware, I shall make him aware next week.
