My Department has agreed to purchase an area of over 2,000 acres for State forestry purposes at Glenamong, in the Ballycroy district, and title to the area is being cleared.
A number of other areas in the Ballycroy district were offered to my Department in recent years, but they were found, on inspection, to be unsuitable for planting.
