asked the Minister for Local Government the total amount received in respect of motor taxation, including tractors, motor cycles, etc., from County Sligo during the last complete financial year, and the amount paid in grants for road purposes to Sligo County Council in the same year.

The amount of motor taxation etc. collected by Sligo County Council during the financial year 1960-61 was £85,702. The amount of Road Fund grants allocated to the council in the same period was £178,302.

asked the Minister for Local Government the amount of money paid in road tax on mechanically propelled vehicles in Waterford City in each year from 1950 to the nearest available date.
