As the Deputy was informed in reply to a Question on 22nd March, 1961, the engineering consultants to Cork County Council were to submit further proposals for consideration by the council and any proposals recommended by the council would be considered in my Department. In the meantime no proposals have been received but it appears from correspondence that the council would not be prepared to contribute towards the cost of improving the harbour facilities at Ballycotton.
