Apart from prizes won at shows at various provincial centres in this country, the Army Jumping Team won 15 first, 19 second, 16 third and 65 minor prizes—in all, 115 prizes—in 1961 at international jumping competitions in Great Britain, France, Italy, the United States and Canada, and at the Dublin Horse Show.
These successes received varying degrees of publicity in the newspapers and through other news media at the time and no steps to publicise them specially are contemplated.
