The work of renewing the Bankruptcy Index and the Arrangements Index in the Examiners' Office at the Four Courts is already in hand and it is expected that it will be completed in a few weeks.

I suppose if I inform the Deputy that it was undertaken prior to the putting down of the Question, that would satisfy him.
It would, but I think it is rather extraordinary that no one in the courts knew it was in hand until the Question was put down.
