The most recent particulars available as regards the number and amount of service pensions payable from the Exchequer will be found in the Finance Accounts for the financial year 1960/61 and the Estimates for Public Services for the financial year 1962/63.
The number and amount of pensions paid from the Central Fund in the financial year 1960/61 will be found in the Finance Accounts for that year. Particulars of the number of service pensions payable out of voted moneys at the date on which Estimates were compiled (usually 1 November, 1961) will be found in the appropriate Votes viz. numbers 14, 24, 31, 46 and 48 of the Estimates for Public Services 1962/63. The estimated cost of these pensions and of other non-effective payments for services rendered is also shown in the above Votes.
