I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that Castlecuffe, Clonaheen and Ballyfin are included in the Castlecuffe rural area which has been considered by the Board from time to time for development under the rural electrification scheme but has not been successful.
The position of areas which will not have received supply when the present rural electrification scheme is completed this year has been under active consideration and I hope shortly to be in a position to make a statement in the matter.
