In 1960/61 the Forestry Division of my Department acquired a total area of 819 acres in County Wexford and the area acquired to date in 1961/62 was 364 acres. The present plantable reserve in County Wexford is approximately 961 acres. It is hoped to take over some additional land in the county before the end of the current year.
