Tenders for structural alterations to Limerick Post Office were invited by the Office of Public Works in October, 1961, but none of the tenders then received was accepted. Tenders for the work were re-invited recently and are at present under consideration in the Office of Public Works. If a satisfactory tender has been received it is expected that a contract will be placed at an early date.
